May 20th at Duke

Back at Duke at 8:00am for the first Bavacizumab treatment, which was giving by IV. The treatment lasted about 1 1/2 hours.

Will start Tarceva later today which is in pill form and will have to take one a day for the two week trial. At that point the doctors will do another MRI to check the progress of the trials.

After that they will begin radiation twice a day along with Chemo for three days the first week.

He returns to Duke next week.

Just to let you know that you are in our prayers. God is powerful & AWESOME and is with you hand-in-hand during this difficult time. Stay strong in your faith and it will carry you through.

Paege & Clayton,

Just wanted you to know that you are in my prayers and thoughts. Remember that if God brings you to it he will bring you through it. Paege, I have not called because I know how busy you stay, but please know that I am here for you anytime. From what I have read, you guys have a wonderful support group and a large circle of friends and family who are praying for you. Hold on to your faith at all times. Like many others have said “God is still in the healing business”. Paege, I will see you soon.
