Oct. 22nd Update

I went to Duke last Wed. and got a good check up.  I met with Dr Brizel and he check my throat and he said it has healed some since my last appt.  He said it was still red and had some more healing to do.  So I go back in a month for a check up and at that time he we decide if it’s time for a pet scan.

Good news, I went to High Point Market on Sunday for my Salesmeetings.  It was great to see everybody and to get out and do something.  I went back to High Point on Tuesday and worked with a few accounts.  Both days were long but everything went great.  My feet hurt at the end of the day but that’s all right.  So I have a ways to go but these last couple of days have been really good.

I want to thank everyone for their support and prayers.  Please help me pray that everything keeps going well and when we do have that Pet Scan we get a clean bill of health!

Thank You

Clayton

  1. ALRIGHT, what great news! I spoke with Jessica last night and she said you had been at market and was doing better even with eating. Clayton, we are so happy for you, Paege and Jessica.

The prayers and good thoughts will continue. I have no doubt that when the pet scan is done that the results will be positive. Just keep doing what you are doing and with Gods help you are going to be just fine.

    Love ya,
    Rocky and Barbara

  2. Awesome! I have goosebumps reading your post and tears of joy in my eyes. I am so happy that you shared your good news with us. I will continue to pray for you and your family.

  3. I am like Jamie with tears of joy in my eyes! Thanks, Clayton, for this great good newsletter!
You just make us feel so good when we hear how determined and dedicated you are. You’re sure on the right track: you’re one in a million! Keep that chin up, ’cause it looks like nothing’s gonna stop you now! Glad you’ve been at work a little, too; had to laugh about your poor tired feet! At least it got your mind off the sore throat for a change! You keep on doing what you’re doing… it’s sure working. God bless you,
    Aunt Connie

  4. I like the sound of that update! I also like Jamie’s quote – right on.

By the way, I heard you downed an entire plate of Mexican food recently! Impressive!!!

We love you and hope to see you in Section I-A this Black Saturday!!!! The Apps need your help!

  5. That is good to hear. Glad you’re getting back to work a little too. Nothing like a good challenge in the market to help get the juices flowing again.

Just prayed again for you, and will continue.

  6. I spent three days at market and my feet were tired too! I’m glad you are getting back to some of the “normal” things, if anything is normal. I love ya and hope to see ya soon. If I’d have known you were at market, I would have brought some of those sinful cookies we bake for the occassion. Guess you will be out trick or treating tonight or better yet, watching the ASU Game.
