Christmas Has Come Early
Hello all
As most of you know I had a PET Scan done last Wed. and I got my results today. Dr. Brizel said, my head and neck area (in his words) was crystal clear. Praise the Lord!!!!
There was an abnormallity in my left lung. We knew going in that the pneumonia I had in my left lung would probably show up on the PET Scan and it did. He feels that this is probably scare tissue. So I will have a CT Scan on Jan. 7th to make sure everything is OK.
So just to recap. My head and neck area is clear. It showed no cancer. I want to thank each of you for your prayers and support. I could not have made it without you!
I hope each and everyone of you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Remember God in everything you do this Holiday Season and enjoy your family.
Peace
Clayton
That is the grestest news so far!!! What a wonderful Christmas we will all have. Not only celebrating the birth of Jesus, but the celebration of cancer free Clayton. It has been such a struggle for you and your family. I cannot imagine tha pain you have gone through and the emotional days you have had. God is faithful to His word. Trust in the Lord wiht ALL your heart……We will continue to pray there will be no cancer cells anywhere else in your body.
I feel like belting out a chorus or two of the Halleluah chorus!
Merry Christmas,
A. Ellen

Yes, our Christmas came early. We have so much to celebrate, but first and foremost I thank God for being with you, Paege and Jessica. I knew our Lord was awesome and if we believed and put it in his hands that this would be the result.
So many people have prayed for this outcome and they all need to know we have been blessed by those many prayers. May you continue to get stronger each day and know we are so happy!
Love,
Rocky and Mama

“and all God’s people say, ‘AMEN’.” Actually, I could hum a few bars of the Halleluah Chorus, too! Thanks for sharing the most wonderful Christmas news we could ever have hoped for; you are a miracle, Clayton! Our hearts are filled with love and admiration for the journey you’ve travelled. God is good.
Love and Merry Christmas,
A. Connie

An early Christmas is right! I know that no one could receive any better gift than to have this news. So many individuals and groups have supported you during this difficult time and it just proves that prayers and miracles do happen.
Thanks be to God who has delivered on his promise to never forsake thee. May each day be an improvement for you. To my daughter and grand-daughter, we are equally happy for you that Clayton has this behind him. You have all been such a support for each other and inspiration to so many.
Our wish is for a Blessed Christmas and a Wonderful New Year!
Love,
Rocky and Mama

It’s Christmas Eve and tonight we will worship and celebrate the birth of the baby Jesus. Tonight, also, we gather to give thanks and praise for the mercy of healing He has given Clayton. One can not find the words to adequately describe the grattitude we feel in our hearts. Our family has become stronger in our bond of love for Jesus and toward one another. God loves us and how well the Abernathy family and friends are experiencing His love. May God’s presence and healing continue to be among us.. Yes, “THANK YOU BABY JESUS” We worship and give you praise.
