The family and friends of Howard Auton and Clayton Abernathy in conjunction with the Glen Oaks Country Club announce the Believe for a Cure Golf Tournament.

Recently, Howard was diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancer, and Clayton was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma (throat cancer). It is expected that these families will incur significant out-of-pocket expenses due to the extent of treatment that is required. All proceeds will go to the Auton / Abernathy medical fund.

Details are as follows:

Golf Event: 1:45 p.m. shotgun start
Golf Format: Captain’s Choice
Cost: $60 per golfer or $200 per foursome (includes dinner)

Prizes: Low Scores, Long Drive, Closest to the Pin, Team with the Most Donations / Pledges, (others to be announced)
