Now that Clayton has started treatment it is time for this awesome network of friends and family to take our level of support to a new level.
The exact financial drain of this entire process to Clayton’s family is still a large unknown and could potentially be a source of great stress and pressure for the entire family in the months to come.
Removing the burden of finances from this family could be an invaluable source of energy and positive momentum for Clayton and Paege during this challenging period.
With your help we can generate a fund that will serve as a source for Clayton and his family to utilize as they deem necessary over the course of his treatments and recovery period.
Some examples of intended uses of “Clayton’s Victory Fund” include:
- Money to replace lost income - Let’s face it, both Clayton and Paege’s jobs rely on them investing their time each day to earn their incomes. Lost income could impact lots of regular monthly expenses including anything from the mortgage payment and utilities to school-related expenses for the kids and so on…(just think of what your paycheck covers for your family each month).
- Money to allow Paege to miss work as much as she needs to so she can be with Clayton
- Money for Gas (multiple trips to Durham per week @ $3.85/gallon adds up quick!)
- Money for other automobile and travel-related expenses
- Money for stuff insurance is bound to not cover - for example, the Duke Caring House costs $25/day for Clayton to stay there - approx. 35 days will cost over $700.00
- Money for who knows what..?..
- You get the picture…they need our help!
We are challenging everyone who can to give at least $100.00 to what we are calling “Clayton’s Victory Fund” (any amount accepted of course..). In the first month this website was viewed over 6,000 times so we know there enough people who care out there to help quickly generate a significant fund for an immediate impact.
